Dr. Stephanie Weiland Knarr is a cutting edge expert in relationship building and systemic organizations.  She is known by her clients for collaboratively creating strategic checklists to improve relationships, increase productivity, and to inspire persistence and work ethic.  Business organizations and families are now seeking out her humorous, clever, and easy to use step-by-step programs to grow ever-more successful people, organizations, and families! (See her biography and customer list below)

Each of Dr. Stephanie's FOUR programs outlined below are peppered with psychological information and systems organization-building expertise. Her program strategies are creatively grounded in theories such as psychological cognitive-behavioral theory, systems theory, and solution-focused change theories.  Plus, Dr. Stephanie's audience will connect with her down to earth, genuine style - her strategies are filled with some plain old common sense from her rearing on a Nebraska farm - the kind of stuff America was built on AND people can rely upon  to build success

PROGRAM # 1:   KEEP ON SWIMMING: Strategies to Create Persistence, Work Ethic, and Confidence (Copyright, 2009, Stephanie Weiland LLC).

The "KEEP ON SWIMMING" program focuses each person in the audience on their relationship with YOU KNOW WHO - - - THEMSELF!  After an introduction with inspiring and humorous stories of people who have engaged in self-determination to overcome adversity, participants are asked to complete a self-assessment of behaviors and attitudes that lead to self qualities such as persistencemotivation, work ethicrelationship and work success, and confidence. The audience is then given new strategies and checklists to help improve parts of themselves they have been neglecting.  In her message for this program, Dr. Stephanie includes clever metaphors about getting caught up in a sea of fears (for example, about the economic recession), distracted by waves of dissatisfaction (for example, wishing for different employment opportunities), and fighting against ever-changing tidal currents (for instance, the dollar suddenly does not stretch as far - creating personal and family stress).  These metaphors engage her audience in a timely message.  More importantly, her program gives people some fresh ideas, reminders, and concrete strategies of HOW TO overcome and WHAT TO DO about today's tidal waves ----- PERSIST AND KEEP ON SWIMMING!

PROGRAM #2 - HONEY DO LISTS: Strategies for Dynamic Marriages (Copyright, 2009, Stephanie Weiland LLC).

This program uses a twist on the idea of a "Honey Do List."  She asks both husbands and wives to take a self-assessment on behaviors and attitues regarding several aspects of a marriage relationship that create a successful, lasting bond.  After taking the assessment, she guides people towards honey do lists that will teach new behaviors, attitues, and even possible things to say to their spouse that can improve whatever the person's "weak" points are as a marriage partner.  She also teaches Dr. Stephanie's "Customer Service" Approach to Marriage - utilizing research information fromAmerica's foremost marriage experts to back up why her approach is so vital to marriage success and conflict resolution!  With examples, anecdotes, and stories from her clinical experience as a marriage therapist and wife, this program is both fun and practical.

PROGRAM #3 - THE TANTRUM STOPPER: Strategies to Strengthen Parents as Family Leaders (Copyright, 2008, Stephanie Weiland LLC).

This program inspires parents to think of themselves as leaders of the family organization.  Of course, many parents are all too aware of the various tantrum-like defiant behaviors displayed by children and teens of all ages.  In order to STOP and prevent future tantrums and child behavior symptoms, parents in the audience are asked to complete a self-assessment on numerous aspects of parenting vital to a healthy family system.  After taking the assessment, parents are able to identify their strengths and weaknesses.  Participants are then given concrete recipes (strategies/checklists) for improving their parental leadership in whatever areas they are weak in.  In this program, Dr. Stephanie also uses pertinent stories and examples from work and business leadership settings and encourages parents to use similar leadership strategies in the family organization.  She includes a fun "Mission Impossible" Theme throughout the workshop for parents who feel parenting is an impossible challenge!

Dr. Stephanie Weiland Knarr has been a marriage and family systems therapist for over ten years.  Her personal motivation and skills have led her to achieve the highest standing as an Approved Supervisor in the AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy).  By the young age of 35, she has acheived a successful private practice in Metropolitan DC.  In her practice, Stephanie Weiland LLC, she acts as a consultant and psychotherapist for personal growth and relationship success.  For a number of years, she has also acted as a consultant for numerous employee assistance programs-- assisting people with business and work-related goals.  She has been a trainer, teacher, and public speaker throughout her academic and professional career.  She is the daughter of Leon and Jean Weiland, owners of Weiland Doors, Inc. - a national manufacturing company based on her family's Nebraska farm.  Her husband Brendan Knarr is a successful business sales manager for Varco Pruden Buildings.
