I spent quite a few years as an employee and then a hiring manager before I opened my own company, Small World Recruiting. Now, I hire people for other companies for a living. I fire more clients than I keep...because they don't treat employees, who are people, the way I feel that they need to be treated. I would rather not get paid than work with an employer who doesn't apprecaite it's workers, support their training or encourage their growth and carrer success.
We need to return to the days when employee and employer form a partnership and encourage mutual success.
