Biography
"This woman is living the sermon."
-Dr. Bernie Siegel

As seen on:  Inside Edition, FOX News and NBC's Daytime Show

This Author, Speaker, Singer and Healing Expert Didn't Battle Cancer, She Befriended It.

Denise is the rare speaker who can reach any audience.

From a corporate setting, as she has 30 years of corporate experience, to a cancer support group, a church or to addressing inmates in a prison, her message resonates with all who hear her speak and sing. She awakens the feeling of our shared humanity. She embodies hope and promise, reminding us that every day is a gift.

She teaches lessons of personal growth and life management that can be applied to living a richer, more meaningful life at home, at work, and in your community.

Denise’s story is one of extraordinary courage, strength, and deep spirituality. Her journey began the moment she opened her eyes in a post-op ward to the words, “You have cancer. A very aggressive cancer in your throat and neck and you need to move on this immediately.” Within days of receiving this news she was given three months to live.

That was 8 years ago!

Denise approached her cancer treatment using her own unique combination of complimentary therapies, music, allopathic medicine, a deep belief in what is possible. She is not just surviving, she is thriving.

She recounts her journey of courage and strength in her new book, From Stage IV To Center Stage, to empower readers, listeners, audience members, and workshop participants to find the opportunities in their struggles and how to turn pain into purpose.

Once you hear Denise tell her story and you meet her in person, your life will be deeply enriched and perhaps changed forever. YOU WILL BE INSPIRED!

At the time of diagnosis of Stage IV throat and neck cancer, Denise was warned she may never sing again. Yet, 22 months post diagnosis this semi-professional singer/song writer sang the National Anthem to a sell-out crowd of 37,000 Red Sox fans at Boston's Fenway Park. Just one month later, she pedaled 87 miles in one day personally raising thousands of dollars for children's cancer research. She is a real-life inspiration to all whom she meets.
