Biography

Andrea Mathews is the author of three books, a professional keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, executive coach, psychotherapist and host of an international radio show.  She firmly believes that if we want to soar to the heights of our destiny or our highest corporate goals, we have to grow inner wings. Andrea has inspired, motivated and transformed audiences worldwide for the past twenty-five years to find and live their own authenticity--for it is only in so doing that we will truly lead, relate, solve both individual and corporate problems and find true fulfillment.   

Experienced

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Counseling Supervisor, and a National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approved Provider of Continuing Education, with 30 years' experience in the mental health and human services field.  Twenty-three of these years were spent in Upper Managment, including the past fifteen, in which she has run a thriving private psychotherapy and speaking practice. Because of that experience, in which she hs started and successfully run her own business, led others in corporate settings, and provided therapy to thousands of individuals, couples and families, Andrea offers both depth and breadth to your corporate training and executive coaching experience. She understands the depth of the inner experience and the intricacies of transformation.  But she also understands the distinct principles of program development and implementation, as well as the power of authentic leadership, employee/employer dynamics and corporate culturalism. All of this, plus twenty-five years' experience as a Corporate Trainer, Keynote Speaker, Workshop Facilitator, Motivational and Inspirational Speaker!  This is an unbeatable combination, which means that she offers a powerful, dynamic, passionate and experienced ability to speak to both heart and mind, bringing the profound into the realm of applicable daily skills.  

Gifted Communicator

Andrea discovered that she had a gift for communication early in life when she began writing as an adolescent, and not too much later, speaking to both small and large groups.  She is able to interact with her audiences in a way that allows participants to do the worlk of self-growth right there in the workshop in a deeply internal way--without anyone else in the room knowing the depth of individual transformation that is going on right beside them. She does this by quickly and easily hearing the heart of the issues and then speaking to them, rather than offering canned prescriptions. People often walk away with the "wow" response, simply because she was so clearly able to zero in on the  individual central issue for each person in the room.

Andrea was recently informed, upon acceptance of her most recent book for publication by John Hunt Publishing, that she offers a "radical slant" on personal growth and that she is "ten years ahead" of the crowd in her thinking on these matters. The ideas she presents often have light bulbs going on all over the room as people begin to get more and more enthusiastic about the change and growth they are envisioning. She offers creative innovation, using terms and tools like radical responsibility, unconditional regard, power balancing, relationship adept and transparency,  to every executive coaching and corporate training endeavor, inspiring lasting change and continuing avenues for growth.

Andrea is also the host of the very popular (over 65,000 listeners) radio show called Authentic Living, on which she has interviewed some of the world's most profound and prolific bestselling authors, entertainers and leaders, inspiring the listening audience to bring authenticity to practical living experience.
