Biography

Tamara J. Hufford-Wong is national business, and health care speaker focusing on improving communications at home and in the workplace. 

She is the founder and owner of Tamara J. Whole Communication™, a communication company in Portland, Ore., dedicated to creating satisfaction in our personal and professional lives through proper communication.

Born in a three-stoplight town in Ohio, Tamara earned her BA in Communication/Public Relations from Marylhurst University. She developed her natural ability to deliver a message during her 12 years of studying acting in Los Angeles.

Having accumulated more than 25 years of experience working with the public, Tamara has become a keen communication specialist and has identified what works well and what doesn’t work when communicating with others. Living and working in such diverse locations as Guam and Los Angles has given her the depth of understanding and appreciation of people we all need to possess in order to survive and thrive in today’s ever-changing world.

Tamara has honed her expertise and works with businesses that want to thrive in a culturally diverse society. She delivers her message through Whole Communication™, the process of being aware and understanding proper communication in all aspects of our personal and professional lives to achieve an empowered and fulfilled life.
