He has presented programs to over 20k thousand people nationwide. He regularly speaks for companies such as Monster.com, Dell computers, ITT Technical Institute, United States Army, the Navy, Bank of America and Aflac.
Harry has been in sales and sales management for over 20 years, with an emphasis on business to business sales to professionals and executives. He has worked for several national and international companies in the management consulting, mortgage and financing and online advertising industries.
Harry was a District Manager for the George S. May Company. He took the district sales from 2 million to over 12 million in 18 months. As the Sales Manager for an International Consulting firm, he increased the company’s sales in New York state from 2 million, to over 12 million annually… in less than a year.
When he worked for Verizon Superpages.com, he was the number one salesperson worldwide, at 526% to quota. He later worked with 2 other online marketing companies, FindLaw.com and then ThomasNet.com
For many years, Harry was the ‘MaryKay – Man’, one of only a few men in the army of women that that sell the number one brand of skin care and cosmetics in the country. Harry developed a large and very unique market (ask him about it) and was the recipient of many sales awards.
Harry holds degrees in both Special Education & Elementary Education, from Columbia University and for many years, has volunteered his time as a coach and an official for the Special Olympics. After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force as a Red Beret in the Para-Rescue Forces (which is the Air Force equivalent of the Navy Seals).
Mr. King has been a coach, volunteer and an official for the Special Olympics for 24 years. He has been a volunteer with Junior Achievement, and was nominated in 2003 for the Junior Achievement National Volunteer of the Year Award. He is a recipient of the national ‘Volunteer Excellence Award’ for the largest fraternity in the world, Sigma Phi Epsilon. Mr. King sits on the board for “Working for Downtown” and is currently the Vice President.
Harry is active with several dog rescue organizations for Dalmatians, Greyhounds and Pit Bulls. He is currently restoring an early 19 hundreds Arts and Crafts home in North Buffalo. When he has a free moment he loves to cook.
