I'm a passionate entrepreneur, author and community leader
motivated by making a difference. My clients call me a cheerleader for
nonprofits and tell me I give them hope that they can accomplish more
than they thought possible.
In my first career I built a successful financial planning practice with
American Express, then worked as the Development Manager for the
National MS Society, WI Chapter. Passionate about women and girls, I
transformed NARAL Pro Choice WI from a volunteer- to
professionally-driven organization and founded Women's Political Voice
to encourage college-age women to consider politics as a career. Before
starting alinea, llc in 2004, I worked as a campaign manager for Frank
Cumberbatch, a Milwaukee mayoral candidate.
I've held many leadership positions, including president of Milwaukee
and WI National Organization for Women, founding board member of
Milwaukee Renaissance Academy charter school, president of The Park
People, Inc., founder and chair of Friends of Bradford Beach and others.
I have over 20 years of speaking and training experience inspiring thousands of individuals and organizations to expect more for themselves.
Specialties
My specialties are: (1) Helping organizations articulate the "essence" of what makes them unique and helping them articulate that story in a professional case statement; (2) Helping organizations focus on relationship fundraising cultivation; and (3) Inspiring individuals and organizations through presentations and seminars.
