Bryan C. Binkholder, better known as The Financial Coach is a published author, dynamic speaker, syndicated radio show host and business advisor. The driving force behind his business comes from helping others identify and break through the barriers that are holding them back in their own lives. Sometimes these barriers are financial, due to a poverty mentality or from a poor, conflicted perspective framed by today’s media and Wall Street’s games. Bryan has a way of identifying the problem, exposing the misconceptions, and providing clear, useful information that has placed countless individuals on the path to financial success.
Other times, the barriers holding people back from success have to do with their perspective, or how they are viewing the situation at hand. Whether the problem is business related, personal, spiritual, or all of the above, Bryan helps individuals cut through to the true source of the problem, make the appropriate adjustments, and experience success.
Bryan is also the acclaimed author of The 401(k) Conspiracy: How Companies and Employees are Being Robbed by Wall Street as the Government Looks the Other Way as well as contributing author with Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul fame) in Mastering The Art of Success. He is also creator of the investor series,The Seven Deadly Investor Traps, Six Pitfalls of Retirement Planning and The Case Against Mutual Funds. Out of all his writings and creations however, Bryan is most excited about his upcoming book on life and leadership--What You See is What You Get: How to Create & Live The Life You Want along with his two new books for youth & college students called Teenagers Guide to Succeeding in Life and his book for college students From College to Real Life: Succeed and Conquer in the New Economy.
Bryan believes having the right information and applying it correctly is the key component to most issues any of us face.
“Good Decisions are Hostage to Good Information™” has become his slogan, and rightly so, with the wealth of information he continues to provide on a daily basis.
So who is the Financial Coach in real life? Really, just a regular guy who came from humble beginnings until he came upon a few of his own barriers, which helped to frame his thinking and bring him to where he is today.
Kicked out of college and banned from Division I athletics when he was exposed for being involved in gambling, Bryan still maintained the right perspective that anything could happen with the right set of choices. Following this setback, he was set-up for a comeback and did so by finishing college in 3 ½ years with three majors and two minors. He then followed this by earning his Masters in Educational Administration and served as teacher and principal for 5 years before the entrepreneurial field caught his attention. Today Bryan is actively involved in Real Estate Investing and owns many homes and commercial properties in the St. Louis Area and in Florida along with managing The Financial Coach, LLC–a company dedicated to financial educational and training.
As a noted speaker and John Maxwell certified instructor, Bryan is sought after by numerous organizations and professional groups including Associations, Schools and church groups. He regularly speaks on finances, leadership, and motivational topics bringing real, workable solutions to the table. His passionate and engaging teaching style, common sense approach, life experiences, and knowledge bring every presentation to life.
One of Bryan’s favorite accomplishments is as the host of his weekly, nationally syndicated radio show which airs on St. Louis’s Leading FM Talk station, 97.1 FM, from 2-3 PM on Saturdays and affiliate stations in the midwest. As an author and noted expert, Mr. Binkholder has also been quoted and published in a variety of respected publications including the Wall-Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, Kiplinger’s, Investment Advisor Magazine, US Senior News, Investment News, Financial Advisor Magazine, and hundreds of radio stations.
On a personal note, Bryan and his wife, Lisa, reside in the St. Louis area with their three children—Faith, Nicholas, and Daniel. They are currently adopting a daughter from the US and support many adoption causes. The Binkholder’s have been life-long residents of St. Louis and are active in various local and national organizations along with their local church.
