Biography

Eileen Wallach, LMSW, CLL brings with her more than 25 years of experience working in the human services field. She has worked with community and state organizations, youth groups, senior groups, Mental health environments, and has been an advocate for people with disabilities. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.

What makes her unique is the "real" factor. Eileen's background is as varied as her audiences. Drawing from her experiences as a teacher, community center director, camping director, program director, artist and therapist, she combines a down-to-earth attitude with a very colorful artistic streak. Through these experiences she has learned that laughter and humor are not only beneficial for physical and mental health but it nourishes the soul too. We are all born with the gift of laughter.

Eileen is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Caring Clowns International, the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor, World Laughter Tour, World Clown Association, Clowns of America International, National Speakers Association , and  a Red Nose Responders.

With all of Eileen's enthusiasm and high energy she is able to connect instantly with her audiences, delivering a message of profound importance with unforgettable hilarity. She lifts, jolts, and nurtures her audiences and they love every minute of it.

All of Eileen's presentations include a very clear and simple format which explains how and why humor can be used therapeutically. Each of her presentations are tailored to a specific topic or audience in order to meet the needs of the group. While the presentations will stimulate fun and laughter, they will be filled with useful concepts and ideas that can be integrated into one's own personal and professional lifestyle.

The presentation will include:
• Explaining how and why therapeutic humor is effective
• Ways of integrating therapeutic humor into one's own lifestyle
• Ways to see the stressors of the world and how humor helps to divert the stress away
• Ways to perceive the humor about yourself and the research that supports the therapeutic nature of humor and laughter
