     Tara-Nicholle Nelson, M.A., Esq. is a Real Estate Broker and Attorney, and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative -- a designation held by less than one-half of one percent of Realtors® nationwide.  Tara’s real estate expertise is providing real estate education and services to niche markets, including single women, investors, and parties involved in legally complex transactions.  As a single teenaged mother living in the Central California Valley, Tara completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology at the California State University.  In 1998, Tara transformed her life, losing 60 pounds, leaving an abusive marriage and moving her children to the Bay Area to attend the prestigious University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
 
     Immediately after graduating from law school, Tara bought her first home in the Bay Area – as a 25-year-old single mom of two boys. After leaving a diverse law practice ranging from legal malpractice defense to corporate and real estate law, Tara began a unique real estate sales practice. 
 
     Realizing that several demographic groups – single women, seniors, investors, and bilingual clients –critical market sectors in her personal practice and the national market at large were being underserved, Tara melded insights from her Psychology background, legal and negotiating savvy, and real estate expertise to innovate a system which she has now used to coach hundreds of single women and investors to success at the endeavor of purchasing a home.  At the same time, Tara recruited and coached bilingual agents, in order to reach and serve the particular needs of the Spanish- and Vietnamese-speaking communities.
 
     Tara is a polished and popular speaker and instructor, infusing substantive information on
real estate, business and legal topics with an emphasis on managing expectations and coaching attendees on the mindset and behavioral elements which will set them up for success at accomplishing their business or lifestyle goals, come what may.  As well, Tara’s seminars demonstrate her extraordinary interdisciplinary perspective;  each seminar is brightened by humorous and serious lessons from her diverse background in such wide-ranging contexts as the FBI, teaching heating & air conditioning trainees, life as a teenaged mother, and the fast-paced worlds of metropolitan law firms and high end Bay Area real estate.  Tara is in the process of writing Book One of the {RE}Think Real Estate series - The Savvy Woman's Homebuying Handbook:  150 Insider Secrets, Decision-Making Guides and Online Resources - plus the 1 Action Plan You Need and companion journal.
