Werner's background includes a MBA from the University of Western Ontario (1965), a M.Sc. (Applied Science) and a B.Sc. (Engineering). In 1965 he took over the running of a small business, bought it in 1968, and grew it 700%, to 94 employees in 7 years. In 1984 he became affiliated with the Wilson Learning Corporation, Eden Prairie, MN and is now leader, and master trained in 13 major technologies. His unique ability to assess, recommend and inspire, have lead to his clients successes and appreciation. He boast a 100% reference-ability rate. He has worked with a myriad of companies including ones the size of Clorox and AstraZeneca.
Amongst his unusual talents are his high altitude climbing skills. It all started at a late age, in 1992, when he trekked to Everest Mountains Base Camp in Nepal and fell in love with the mountains. Since then he has climbed the 7-Summits including Mt. Everest. In 2013 he is returning Everest to become the oldest person in the world to achieve this feat. Werner believes in experiential learning and says "I learned more about leadership, communication, team and team building on the mountain than I ever dreamed possible."
