Jack Beauregard is a nationally recognized expert in helping baby boomers redefine what it means to “retire.” His strategic planning steps, proprietary principles, successful approaches and decision making techniques help people live lives filled with meaning and purpose and transforms retirement into The Platinum Years,® the best 10-20-30 years of life between leaving a company and the golden years.
Jack founded and was the CEO of Designer Orthopedics, the first cost-containment company in the U.S. which he built into a multi-million dollar company. Jack left the company, due to the death of his wife, and founded InnerVisions Associates, a nineteen-year-old company, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The company’s original focus was to effectively integrate the human and cultural issues in mergers-and-acquisitions. The associates of InnerVisions were involved in the integration of 140 M&A's.
During this time, Jack helped C-level executives in the merged firms and owners who sold their businesses determine what they wanted to do after they left their companies. Jack has expanded the application of the effective strategic approach in his non financial life planning program beyond the mergers-and-acquisitions field to help baby boomers who do not want to retire in the traditional sense, successfully answer the “what next” question.
Jack has presented his unique approach on many radio and television programs, including NPR and the Voice of America worldwide business program. He has also been a keynote speaker at conferences, seminars and workshops. Jack’s personal story of leaving the world of perfectionism to discover who he really is, the key to knowing what one really wants to do in life, is told in his book The Power of Balance: Seven Principles for Transforming Mind, Spirit, and Self. He is currently working on a new book that will revolutionize retirement and become the "Bible" for baby boomers and future generations alike.
Jack is currently founder and president of the Institute for Successful Exit Planning, located in Harvard Square in Cambridge MA, which helps business owners and professional successful answer the questions: “What do I want to do with my business?" and "What am I going to do with my life after I leave my company?”
Jack is an alumnus of Harvard University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
