Building Youth
and Young Adults for Leadership…
Success Movement organizes and engages communities, public and private entities and institutions with training and projects focused on educating, empowering and inspiring youth and families. Further, Success Movement promotes the collaboration between parents, schools, local businesses, social service agencies, higher education, political leaders and citizens so that they will operate as the “Village” that raises generations of leaders.
Mission Statement
To educate, empower and inspire by any means necessary. Success Movement motivates and empowers its audiences to improve conditions of not only their lives, but also their communities and families through strategic action. We offer programs and projects that offer solutions in building youth and young adult leaders.

Spoken Word Performance
· We have performed poetry at several events. The performance is utilized to not only entertain but to empower, educate and inspire audiences. The spoken word performances will be available for theatre stage plays, weddings, corporate and private events.
Leadership Training
· We design, instruct, and facilitate leadership, primarily targeting youth and young adults.

· 3E’s “Balancing Education, Empowerment and Entertainment.” The workshop is focus toward building leadership habits for youth and young adult leaders.
· “What Mission are you on?” Mission Statement workshop, which focuses on identifying and making concrete God Given purpose.
· “Daddy, I Need You” Male Leadership Series
Part 1 “Leading Before the Seed” Focuses on youth and young adult building leadership skills before having children.
Part 2 “Soldier Dad” Focuses on accomplishing mission of being a father regardless of circumstances.
Part 3 “Step up, Step In” Focuses on the power of mentoring.

· “College Prep Boot Camp” Focuses on getting prepared for college through proper planning , sweat, blood and tears.
· “Ageism vs. Racism” Focusing the affects of racism in comparison to the affects of the communication gap between generations.
**We also offer workshops that target various other issues such as fatherhood/male leadership, relationships, economic development, education , etc. We will create and customize training to fit client needs.
Seminar Production
· We will produce, coordinate, and market conferences, seminars, workshops and events for corporate and private entities.
Leadership Athletic Camps
· We will produce youth athletic camps that will teach skills and techniques necessary to excel in sports such as football, basketball, baseball, track, golf, soccer…etc. In addition, these camps will also have leadership workshops that will commence before each athletic training session. The youth will learn leadership principles on and off the playing surface.
Retail Products
· We will produce audio, video and books that will be sold at various events, retail outlets and online. We plan to one day open up a bookstore.
Current Projects
Success Movement current projects:
Eastwood “Village” Project
· This project is focused on strengthening the connection between key stakeholders of community (school, parents, students, social services, faith community, local business and higher education). The project’s goal is to empower community elements to work together in order for youth to reach their highest potential. It is centered in southeast Fort Worth, TX.
“We Got Next” Youth and Young Adult Leadership Movement
· This project is focused on establishing vision and expectation of greatness and leadership in youth and young adults. The movement is focused around a social media website that promotes leadership and empowerment training conferences, seminars, conference calls, webinars, podcasts, videos, products as well as networking. Ultimately, the movement will promote a lifestyle of education and empowerment that will expose youth and young adults to opportunities and provoke critical thinking as opposed to automated media programming of their minds. The message is that youth and young adults have next in leadership and now is the time for growth and preparation for that expectation.
“Soldier Mentality” Youth and Young Adult Leadership: Balancing Education, Empowerment and Entertainment-Book Project.
· This project is the first book in a series that focuses on building leadership in youth and young adults. It focuses on establishing a mission focused mentality in youth that causes their vision to guide their decision making and how they spend their time. The book title originates from principles learned from United States Marine Corps experience. The project also has speaking programs that target schools, colleges, and various youth and young adult programs. Author, Junichi Lockett Jr., speaks at various schools, colleges, and programs.

How can youth and young adults build the mentality that will cause them to rise above negative circumstances, reach their highest and declare “We Got Next” in leadership?
Many people are concerned that Generations X and Y, also known as the Hip Hop and Social Media generations are increasingly apathetic and unfocused on living productive lives. Furthermore, many criticize that youth only inundate themselves with things that only entertain them such as hip hop, video games and parties. Is attacking youth culture and removing the forms of entertainment the answer? Or is that the method that causes our youth to rebel at home, school and the community leading them to poor academic performance, negative social behavior and falling below their leadership potential? Have we replaced racism with ageism?

Bio
Junichi Lockett Jr. is an “Empowerment” Speaker, Youth Activist, Educator, Author and native of Fort Worth, Texas. The former U.S. Marine and Iraqi War veteran has committed his life to educating, empowering and inspiring people, by any means necessary, specifically youth and youth adults. As a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., he understands first-hand the trials, triumphs and traps of the higher education experience. As one of the leading authorities on youth and young adult leadership, Junichi has launched Success Movement to offer empowerment as a lifestyle.
