If you want to score big in the game of business, you need a motivated roster of dedicated pros who are all following the same playbook. But it’s easy for focus to fade and effort to dwindle over time. Before long, your teammates are taking their eyes off the prize and allowing the competition to rack up points. When this happens, your best move is a timeout and an inspirational pep talk on the sideline from an experienced authority who will command respect, stir passion and impart wisdom. And that’s where I come in.

My name is Pat Bayers, President of Top Notch Presenters, Inc., and I know what it takes to fire up a team—whether it be on the gridiron or the field of sales. What makes me qualified to get your staff’s attention? I’ve earned my stripes…literally. Not only am I a skilled motivational speaker with 15 years experience and a former sales all-star who handled multi-million dollar national and regional accounts, but I’ve also been a Big 10 college football referee for the past 20 years. Additionally, I was a two-time All American and the first American college player ever recruited to play professionally in the Italian Football League.

My goal is to rejuvenate your staff with enthusiasm and encouragement and provide invaluable tips and techniques that can dramatically increase sales, revenue and morale. I know what it takes to train professionals and successfully land and manage accounts both large and small. From SuperValu and ConAgra to the Ball Corporation and Kraft Foods (which grew from a $150,000 to a $1.2 million account under my watch), I have vast experience working with the big boys as well as the smaller players in my career.

My presentations typically run from 30 to 90 minutes, including an introduction, main pep talk, and question-and-answer session. I often weave in absorbing stories about refereeing exciting Bowl games and playing pigskin in crunch time as illustrative examples of how to excel under pressure. If you really want me to send a signal to your team, I can even arrive in my referee’s uniform armed with my trusty whistle, which never fails to get their attention. Additionally, I am available for private one-on-one training and motivational sessions.
