Lisa Vinton, President and CEO of Services for Success, Inc., is a Business Mentor & Consultant and founder of the non-profit Southwest Pregnancy Counseling Center, Inc. She has trained, mentored and coached on unique solutions to ordinary business problems. With her high energy and thought provoking business insights, she instills the incentives to take your business to the higher level and having fun doing it. With her real life and work experience as a TV business news reporter and online radio talk show host, she packs each event with power, fun and oomph! This former C.O.O. of a Civil Engineering Firm, is a wife, mother of five, and a strong leader and communicator, as well as an enthusiastic and humorous presenter. Her experiences will have you laughing and crying at the same time. She is passionate about reaching out to entrepreneurs and women in the business communities and serving communities wherever possible for local and national non-profit organizations.
Education:
Lisa earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Business with a double major in Management & Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Finance. She completed 114 units in 26 months as a single mother of 2 and working full-time. She graduated with honors and a 3.94 gpa.
Personal Accomplishments:
Lisa has twice served as a gestational surrogate mother giving birth to twins in 1994 and a baby girl in 2002 for couples unable to have their own children. Her experience has touched the lives of not only the families and friends of the couples, but of Lisa's own family & friends. She maintains a good relationship with both families and keeps in regular contact.
Southwest Pregnancy Counseling Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Lisa. The Center's motto is "Education and support for decisions that last a lifetime." Because of Lisa's own personal story of being an unwed mother at 21, she recognizes a large need to help others without judgment and with love and compassion. She speaks regularly in the local high schools to share the option of Open Adoption as an alternative to abortion.
