Laurie walks the talk, the authentic message, creating a bridge of trust with her audience, drawing them in with laughter, familiarity , honesty and a passion for helping women see, feel, and grasp the funny side of the street in life and then the solutions - Along with her training in spiritual psychology and fitness, some form of movement is a given … Everyone leaves every seminar with more tools for life.

 

Laurie’s rich information is the culmination of her participatory research swimming with dolphins and whales and life’s lessons after losing her Mother to cancer, and navigating a hysterectomy, knee replacement surgery, shoulder surgery and loss of a lucrative 30 year career in the film industry all within less than three years.

 

“When your life seems down to nothing, the universe is up to something” Laurie writes in her book, Whispers from the Heart, Messages from Mother, humorously documenting how to get a suntan when life turns up the heat, and use adversity to grow into more than you thought you told you could be.

 

Laurie has been a featured columnist in National breast Cancer Magazine, teaches an ongoing course she created specifically for physician well being at Cedars in Los Angeles, and travels the country teaching Way to Wellness courses, helping women in all phases of cancer recovery and has created specialty aftercare for patients, onsite interactive stress management programs for physicians , and corporate programs that open the frontier to what lies beyond wellness. There was no such support when her Mother initially got breast cancer over thirty years ago which spurred her into action one starless night…
