As an executive coach, I help executives on their way to C-suite decide what to say and what to say. I make it easier for executives to manage people and projects and think long term, at the same time. I have a gift for helping executives eliminate problems and identify opportunities.
I've been working with executives and speaking to groups for over 15 years. My style is direct, thoughtful, fun, and engaging. I don't motivate the heart of audience members; I motivate their brains towards action. I'm not going to pull any tricks while speaking: it's common sense stated in a way that applies to you and your organization.
I host the CBS Interactive video series, “Leila’s House of Corrections.” The 3-minute videos capture the essence of today’s most pressing management concerns and teaches business leaders how to motivate their teams to profit and productivity. They are streamed thousands of times daily. I also provide regular commentary for CBS TV in the San Francisco Bay Area and CBS radio nationwide.
Videos clips of my TV and video appearances are available on my website: http://thebullingtownegroup.com/media/.
I am regular webinar host for the Society for Human Resource Management. One of my SHRM webinars, on performance management, had over 5,000 participants and was one of the top 5 best attended webinars in SHRM's history.
My work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, HR, Reuters, The Christian Science Monitor, Women’s Health, Heart and Soul, ADVANCE, Careerbuilder.com, SHRM.org, The Rotarian, The Modesto Bee, CareerSmart Advisor, and many other publications.
I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with an AB in English and German. I received my MA in English from The Claremont Graduate School at The Claremont Colleges.
